Stay As You Are

A Photo for Emily Dickinson’s   A Bird Came Down The Walk

A Bird, came down the Walk —
He did not know I saw —
He bit an Angle Worm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw,

And then, he drank a Dew
From a convenient Grass —
And then hopped sidewise to the Wall
To let a Beetle pass —…

Friends Forever More

Friends Forever More

I am trying to tell you
that you are my friend,
and we’ll be together
until the end.
Friends forever more.

I Know You Triggered The Woman In Me

Image

I know you triggered the woman in me,

this is a side of me I  thought I would never see.

I got to fight this..

I don’t want this..

This is too dangerous for me.

I know you triggered the woman in me.

Explanation Below;

The poem is about a single woman moving happily through life, until she comes across a man that blows her mind to pieces. She knows singleness suits her, but now she has to fight the feeling.

Let’s Die Off

You Are Me We Are You 2-Edit

Come into the light again,
I’m ready to pick a fight again.
I’ve picked at this a thousand times,
And I don’t care to try again.
Bang bang three hundred shot dead.
Who doesn’t want to die again?
A little mace and paper spray,
Then all the saints go marching in,
Like a dagger in the wind.
Do you expect that to fly again?
If you put three holes in my sail,
Do you think I’ll ever glide again?
I don’t need a hundred marching men.
I need some one to confide in.
I need to know that nothing will explode,
In the beds where my kids lay their heads.
Somehow two thousand marching feet,
Just don’t sit quite right with me .
If born a day ago I still would know,
That those guys aren’t marching for me.,
And sure enough as it seems
Those suckers are marching towards me.
That’s how it is when the saints go marching in,
To silence wounds and slaughter dreams.

Affinity Theory

Image

Forever behold the fountain of love
But where is love now and where will it go?
What happened to the fountain of love?
What happened to the ebb and flow?
Why don’t the waters quench my thirst?
Why do the waters run in place?
Why do these relationships always explode?
Why do they tend to blow up in my face?
What happen to or forever hold your peace?
Why couldn’t she have held her peace?
Why is she suddenly on his mind?
Why is he down on one knee?
Who really benefits from this fountain?
When will I get to take a drink?
Why is she wading in my waters?
Why is she wearing my wedding ring?
When will I find my true love?
When will my prince come along?
Why cant he be as handsome as the last?
And what took the fountain so long?
Who would’ve thought it’d turn out like this
The fountain of love I forever behold
You know that when we say our vows
He’ll be watching from the window
